News; Voices from Plaintiffs Erina Imai: representing voices of young generation in Japan

 In News

Kobe Climate Case currently has 40 plaintiffs for the civil action case, and 12 plaintiffs for the administrative litigation case, and all are fighting with passion.
Erina Imai, a senior at Kobe University, who has experience attending COP conference in Bonn, will talk about her thoughts of what is going on around the world, and her active participation in Fridays for Future strikes.

Erina stated her opinion at the first hearing of the administrative litigation:

As a citizen who lives in Japan, and as someone from the younger generation, I urge Japanese Government to go carbon free like the rest of the world and to break away from coal fire power generation. I truly wish that this trial is the key point for Japan to change it’s policy.

At Kobe Climate Case, kids have participated as plaintiffs who will represent the future generations. Our team will support the plaintiffs as well as the defense team to bring about better environment for the future.
